Induction and Blending

First, the Powder Mixer utilizes pumps that are capable of generating a strong vacuum that can be maintained throughout the entire product run, ensuring your powder rate will remain consistent and fluid will not back up into the funnel. Then, the FS Shear Blender uses an intermeshed rotor/stator system to disperse particles into liquid. The rotating teeth pass within 0.5 mm of the stationary teeth at high speeds, ensuring that all product must be thoroughly blended to exit the Powder Mixer.

Floor-Level Operation

No dangerous ladder climbing. No falling or dropping equipment from a mezzanine. No bending to pour. Smaller models are portable, with locking wheels. Easily move the Powder Mixer to different processes each day.

Fristam’s Powder Mixer PM-FDS provides high-performance blending of highly concentrated, viscous wet or dry ingredients into a fluid stream. The tabletop unit combines a Fristam Shear Blender to devour lumps and clumps and provide consistent blending with the suction of a Fristam Twin Screw pump to mix products with viscosities as high as 1,000,000 cps. The PM-FDS maintains consistent suction on products whose viscosities start at a lower level but climb past the point where other pumps typically fail.
